· On average 147 consumers a day and 125 a week after 28 days come through McShin.
· McShin participation in successful advocation of the Mental Health Parity Bill
· McShin is a provider for education offering Peer Leadership Training courses.
· Our 2008 Springs Awards Banquet honored Judges Catherine Hammond & Gary Hicks with the Bronze Key Award, 250 people attended.
· Our annual pool party hosted by John & Kathy Rueger had 200 in attendance.
· We partnered with Faces & Voices of Recovery for the Recovery Voices Count campaign which over 400 people voted for recovery.
· In September we had our annual golf tournament with about 100 golfers attending.
· Our Recovery Fest had delegates, senators, and sheriffs in attendance. Also, over 1,400 community members attended.
· We raised over $5,000.00 at our Holiday Party/Silent Auction in 2008.
· We produced a recovery comedy DVD featuring Mark Lundholm at the Henrico County Jail.
· Our McCovery Comedy Event was a dedication to our McCovery program in the Richmond City Jail and featured comedians Mark Lundholm and Damon Edwards.
· To date we’ve served 27 Certifications for Peer Leadership Training & Recovery Coaching.
